State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIP) provide free, confidential, one-on-one Medicare counseling. Counselors do not sell insurance or work on commission.
What to Bring to Your SHIP Counseling Session
- Medication List: Exact names, dosages, and daily frequencies of all prescription drugs.
- Provider List: Full names and practice locations of your oncologists, surgeons, and cancer centers.
- Current Insurance Cards: Medicare card and any current plan or supplement cards.
- Notice of Change: Any recent Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) received from your plan.
