Share a remembrance

We can add a memorial page for someone you lost to cancer — a short remembrance, alongside a few practical things you wish you’d known. Every page is written by family and reviewed by our team before it’s published, usually within about a week.

What we’ll ask for

  • Their name (first name and last initial is fine), and the years they were born and died
  • A short remembrance in your own words (up to about 400 words)
  • Up to a few practical lessons for other families navigating cancer care
  • Your relationship to them, and confirmation that you have the family’s permission to share this
  • A photo, if you’d like (optional)

We don’t publish hospital or clinician names, treatment details tied to outcomes, or specific survival timelines — the focus is remembering your person and helping another family, not medical detail.

Submit a remembrance

Please avoid naming hospitals or clinicians, and avoid describing specific treatments as the cause of death — we’re not able to publish those. See our guidance above.

Up to 3 things you wish you’d known (optional)

Used only to confirm this submission and reach you about review. Never published.

If you’re grieving and need support right now, we’re glad you’re here — you don’t have to write anything for us to help. Our comfort resources are a good place to start.
