Cancer Explained is recruiting an advisory board. We do not list advisory-board members until they have agreed to serve and their role, credentials, and conflicts can be shown accurately.
Expertise we are recruiting
- Medical oncology and hematology
- Oncology nursing and patient navigation
- Pharmacy and medication safety
- Cancer rehabilitation, nutrition, and survivorship
- Pediatric and AYA cancer support
- Spanish-language patient education
- Financial navigation, access, and health equity
What board members will and will not do
Advisory-board members may advise on editorial priorities, safety risks, plain-language gaps, access issues, and review workflows. They will not provide personal medical advice through the site, and their participation will not imply endorsement of every page unless a page shows that they reviewed it.
How we will disclose members
Once seated, each public profile will include name, credentials, role, relevant experience, date joined, and conflict-of-interest notes. If a board member reviews a specific page, that page will show separate review metadata.
Clinicians, navigators, translators, and patient advocates can start at Volunteer to review content.
