Pediatric family support
Parents and families of children and teens in cancer treatment, and childhood-cancer survivors' families.
What help is available
Parent-to-parent communities, family financial assistance (often via your hospital social worker), family housing near children's hospitals, and free family resources.
Good to know
Several family assistance programs accept requests only through hospital social workers — your child's care team is often the fastest route.
A note about peer support
Peer support can provide understanding and practical encouragement, but group members may share personal experiences that do not apply to everyone. Do not change treatment, medication, or urgent-care decisions based only on advice from an online group.
